We all remember hearing our first ghost story, but one British man seems to have trumped them all with his very own terrifying tale.
Darren Godfrey has reportedly had several spooky run-ins with the supernatural, with ghosts appearing to follow him throughout childhood. But things didn't stop after adolescence, they just got even more bonkers.

Speaking exclusively to OMG-News.com from his home in England, Darren told us he'd actually lived in two haunted houses, years before sighting a UFO.
"In the first haunted house, I was only about 5 yrs old. I woke up in the middle of the night to see a glowing ghostly figure wearing a hooded cowl, I immediately panicked and turned to face the other direction hoping it would go away.
"I turned back to face it, but obviously it was still there, I screamed and ran right through it and turned the light on and it vanished. The following morning I told my mother, and she later told me that she'd told it to leave me alone."
He never saw the figure again but told OMG! that his house never felt the same, constantly feeling "uncomfortable" like "something was lurking, a sinister presence".
"In the second house, the whole family experienced paranormal activities, I was around 9 -10 years old then. I had three separate events, the most terrifying of which was when the Poltergeist that haunted the house grabbed my leg and pulled me."
Darren continued: "The second was a ghostly image of a monster appearing in my room. The last was when I either dreamt or actually floated out of bed, and the force took me to the bathroom where three goblin like faces, were revolving around me until I managed to force myself out of it and got back to bed."

He's not the only one in the family who experienced spooky scenarios either. Even his sister, who's four years older, reportedly felt "dead people" in her bedroom. His mother was experiencing things too before an intervention from her psychic aunt.
"She said there was a malevolent presence and it was draining our energy and it was attached in some spiritual way to an old chair, which my father later burned. After that, although things calmed down a great deal."
But it was later in Darren's life that the ghouls have seemingly given up, giving aliens an opportunity to cause confusion. After moving to Plymouth, near the sea, he reported seeing an infamous 'Tic Tac UFO' in the sky.
"I witnessed a slow moving tic tak like uap (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) that very slowly did a peculiar like back flip manoeuvre then slowly disappeared out of view," he explained. "Unfortunately i didn't have my mobile on me. As a child at 5 I had never thought of the supernatural, however obviously from then on I did."
