Ant and Dec stop Britain's Got Talent filming after 'falling sick' with illness

TELLY hosts Ant and Dec have been forced to stop filming a Britain's Got Talent special after 'falling stick' with a mystery illness.

The Geordie duo are "both unwell" according to ITV bosses who have confirmed that they have "postponed work commitments" at the moment.

They were set to shoot Britain’s Got Talent: The Ultimate Magician, a new TV special bringing together the most memorable magicians from the hit-TV show.

In a two-hour special, magicians will compete to become the ultimate champion of magic and win a huge £50,000 cash prize.

Bosses have confirmed that Stephen Mulhern is being forced to step in to replace Ant and Dec due to the show's fast turnaround.

They told TVZone: "Sadly, this means they were unable to film Britain’s Got Talent: The Ultimate Magician.  

"Whilst we wish them a speedy recovery, we are thrilled to confirm that BGT’s favourite magician, Stephen Mulhern has stepped in."
