In the video, Ruby was carefully edging along the side of the pool with a hose before suddenly losing her footing and crashing into the water.
The impact sent her smashing into the pool's edge, with the 40-year-old immediately clutching her ribs as she struggled in the water.

A visibly distressed Ruby could be seen writhing in pain following the fall.
She later confirmed the extent of her injuries, writing: "RIP to my ribs, and the rest of my summer. They are broken, multiple. Straight to hospital, did not pass go or collect $200," alongside a laughing and crying emoji.
Ruby also reposted the clip on Threads, telling followers: "One second I'm here talking to you. The next I'm in the hospital with two broken ribs. What a bloody Monday."
The Orange Is the New Black star is no stranger to serious injuries. Back in 2019, Ruby was hospitalized after performing a stunt while filming Batwoman.

At the time, she initially believed she had only fractured a rib.
"We thought that I had broken a rib or just fractured a rib and that it was, like, 6 to 12 weeks of healing," she previously told The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
"So, then I had 6 to 12 weeks of chronic pain and just sort of kept assuming that was what it was."

Doctors later discovered she had suffered two herniated discs in her spine.
"It was really, really terrifying," Ruby said, explaining she could have been left a paraplegic if she hadn't received urgent treatment.
She later revealed the ordeal left lasting emotional scars.
Speaking to TV Week, Ruby said the trauma was so severe that she checked herself into a trauma facility for three months in 2021 because her brain would "literally shut down and turn off" whenever she tried to discuss what happened publicly.
"It was a horrendous injury, and I was so very alone throughout the whole experience," she said.
