North West is facing a wave of online backlash after dropping her second solo single, MULA THA ROOT OF ALL EVIL.
The 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West teamed up with Lil Novi, the 16-year-old son of Lil Wayne and Nivea, for the new track and music video released Friday.

The song quickly sparked strong reactions online, with listeners flooding social media with harsh reviews of the collaboration.

"I can't tell if this is dog s*** or I'm just getting old," one person wrote.
"Man what the f***," another reacted, while a third simply declared: "Terrible."
Others branded the song "hot trash," "a bunch of noise," "bulls***," "feces" and "noise pollution."
"This is what nepotism in music looks like," one X user wrote, adding: "But I'm here for supporting the babies. This may be the start of something bigger."
Another commented: "my poor fucking ears," while one listener posted: "WOW THIS IS THE MOST TRASH SHIT EVER!!!"
"It sounds awful! I hope they make a lot of money," another joked.

Not everyone was critical of the release, however.
"Everyone talking about trash. My son, nephews and nieces are all listening to artists in this genre rn. It's new generation stuff. Our parents thought the same about our music," one supporter argued.
The track features both North and Lil Novi rapping about wealth, with Lil Novi delivering the chorus: "If they say money the root of all evil then I'm a demon."
North's verse includes the lyrics: "If it ain't 'bout a bag I'm leavin' – too much ice, I'm freezin'."
"Had to wear a mask 'cause the bank account too nasty. Wanna see a milli' in cash? Then get at me. Got this green in my pocket like wasabi."

In the fast-paced music video, North appears with blue hair, grillz and spiked gauntlets as she performs alongside Lil Novi.
The release comes one month after North unveiled her debut single, #N0rth4evr, which generated attention online after she showed off a set of faux piercings in the accompanying video.
The collaboration also marks a new link between the families of Kanye West and Lil Wayne, who worked together on multiple tracks in the 2000s, including Barry Bonds and See You in My Nightmares.
