KIM Kardashian was left with an awkward wardrobe blunder after thinking her pal's birthday bash was a Halloween costume party.
The reality TV star attended actress friend Tracee Ellis Ross' 50th birthday party covered in blue paint, dressed as Mystique from X-Men.
She went all out for the costume, sporting a full latex suit and a full face and body of bright blue make-up, channelling the fictional character.

Although it all came tumbling down on The Kardashians star when she arrived to find everyone dressed in formal attire.
Posing for a birthday snap with Tracee, Kim made light of the embarrassing scenario – showing the contrast in the pair's outfits.
"That time I showed up to a birthday dinner in full costume when it wasn't a costume party!," mortified Kim wrote on her Instagram.
"Happy Birthday to the most beautiful soul @traceeelliseross," she added – attaching a snap of the pair inside a posh eatery.

It is thought she left the bash and went straight to a Halloween party to make use of her amazing attire – meeting up with pal Diddy.
The rapper was dressed as the Joker as he posed for snaps and videos shared to his Instagram – tagging Kim in one of the snaps.
