Chrissy Teigen has revealed she's drinking alcohol again, four years after publicly quitting.
The model and TV personality, 39, opened up in a candid Instagram post promoting an upcoming podcast interview with Holly Whitaker—the author of Quit Like A Woman, the sobriety memoir that helped inspire Teigen to get sober in 2020.

Teigen said she felt compelled to be honest with her followers, sharing: "Holly Whitaker changed my life, changed my perspective and changed how I view the f****** beast that is alcohol. But to have to admit to all of you: I let it back into my life. To let a lot of you down, oh I feel it deeply."

She added, "The truth is, I don't know what I'm doing."
Teigen originally stopped drinking in December 2020 after what she called repeated embarrassing moments tied to alcohol. At the time, she said she was "done with making an a** of myself in front of people."
In the new post, she reflects on the benefits of sobriety—saying she feels and functions better without alcohol—but admits she struggles with moderation.

"I one hundred percent know I like me better sober," she wrote. "I absolutely feel better in my body without it… and I am one hundred percent p***** that I can't be normal and have a cocktail with my husband on vacay without it turning into eight and feeling like s***."

She continued, "I'm tired of throwing up on a Tuesday. I don't wanna feel like I need a shot to talk to a crowd… All I know is my relationship with the whole process of sobriety (and messing up) has changed for the better."
Teigen ended her message by thanking the sober community and those "figuring it out," admitting she still doesn't have the answers, but she's trying.
