Britney Spears sparked concern among her fans by sharing a video of herself dancing in a bikini while holding large knives. The 41-year-old singer, known for her provocative social media posts, posted the video on Instagram, where she could be seen twirling the massive blades while wearing a swimsuit at her Los Angeles home.

In the video's caption, Spears wrote, "I started playing in the kitchen with knives today!" Despite claims that the knives were fake and intended for Halloween, some fans were unconvinced, as they believed the blades sounded genuine when clinked together.

Britney reassured her 42.1 million followers, saying, "Don't worry, they are NOT real knives! Halloween is soon." However, her latest post triggered a Reddit thread where users expressed concerns about her mental state.

One user commented, "Unhinged. This is the most disturbing [of her videos] yet." Another user expressed skepticism, saying, "She says they are not real, but they look and sound real to me. This is concerning." A third person noted, "Ohhh Brit, I would have believed you if you didn't clink them together," while someone else observed, "Wild behavior! You can literally hear the metal clinking."

TMZ previously reported in May that Britney had an "obsession" with knives. Sources also claimed that she had thrown knives at the walls of her LA home following the news of her husband, Sam Asghari, filing for divorce after just 14 months of marriage in August.

The singer publicly disclosed her bipolar disorder diagnosis in 2021 and has promised to reveal more about her tumultuous life, which included being under a 13-year conservatorship until last year, in her upcoming memoir, 'The Woman in Me.'
