Nevertheless, Ariana attributes her emotional resilience to the regular counseling sessions that provided her with the essential tools to navigate through this tumultuous period. In her conversation with Us Weekly magazine, Ariana emphasized the significance of therapy in her recovery journey, stating, "Therapy helped 100 per cent. Some of the work I was doing in therapy before all of this set me up to be in a much better position. So it could have been much worse."

She expressed this newfound self-assurance by saying, "This situation made me realize I can do hard things. The worst-case scenario literally did happen, and I was okay. I was like, 'Look, you can handle what's thrown at you.'"
