AJ Odudu in 'final talks' to present new reboot series of ITV Big Brother

PRESENTER AJ Odudu is in "final talks" to land the top job hosting the brand new series of Big Brother when it reboots on ITV.

She previously had a presenting role on the 2013 reality show spin-off Big Brother's Bit on the Side, alongside Emma Willis and Rylan Clark-Neal.

And now it seems she's landed the main hosting slot when the show, which has been off-air for six years, revives itself on ITV next year.

"AJ has been offered the Big Brother job and jumped at the opportunity. It’s a huge boost to her career," claims a telly insider.

"AJ and ITV are still ironing out details in her contract but she has told a lot of people the job is hers," they told The Sun newspaper.  

The 34-year-old telly star reportedly fought off tough competition; beating former Big Brother star Alison Hammond and actress Emily Atack.

An ITV spokesperson told OMG-News.com: "All suggestions surrounding the host are speculation at this stage."

The hit-social experiment TV show was originally hosted by Davina McCall who was the face of the programme from 2000 until 2010.

Ex-contestant Brian Dowling took the reins between 2011 and 2013 before Emma Willis covered the final years until it went off-air in 2018.

After starting on Channel 4, the show later switched to Channel 5 where it ended its run. The 2023 series will be its first on ITV and airs in Autumn.
