Robert Rinder breaks down in tears live on-air during Good Morning Britain

TELLY judge Robert Rinder broke down in tears while presenting Good Morning Britain as he opened up about his late dog, Rocco.

Describing his terrible loss, he said: "I wasn't necessarily a dog person, but then this beautiful snoring creature came into my life.

"There's nothing like the profound delight of arriving home and somebody being completely full of limitless joy just to see you. No human being will give you that. 

"I never thought I would be this person and there will be people out there who might roll their eyes or shrug their shoulders and I know there are big issues in the world, but to have had the gift of loyalty of that dog and to have lost that dog or pet is a challenging thing. 

"Thank you for a beautiful loving life. I loved him very, very much."

Announcing Rocco's death on Twitter earlier last week, Rob Tweeted: "My Rocco died suddenly yesterday. 

"He blessed me with a lifetime of loyalty and limitless joy. I don’t speak about my private world normally.
