Fast forward to now, and the duo has sealed the deal with a Stipulated Judgment, an agreement hashed out by all parties involved. Laura Wasser, Britney's legal powerhouse, came out swinging, filing a response to Sam's initial divorce petition.
Newly uncovered court docs, snagged by E! Online, spill the tea that neither party will be cutting any checks to each other. Instead, they're divvying up their assets like celeb pros through a private settlement arrangement.

According to the legal jargon, they've "entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support." It's official—things went south for the couple around July 30 last year, with Sam pulling the trigger on the divorce about two weeks later.
The paperwork spells it out: "Irreconcilable differences have arisen between the parties that have led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage, making it impossible for the parties to live together as husband and wife. [Both] acknowledge that their marital relationship cannot be restored or reestablished at this time."

Rumor has it that Brit and Sam inked a prenup before jumping the broom back in June 2022.
