Matthew Perry, renowned for his role as Chandler Bing on the hit TV series "Friends," has tragically passed away at the age of 54. Reports indicate that he was discovered lifeless in the jacuzzi at his Los Angeles residence, with apparent drowning as the cause of death.

According to sources cited by TMZ, no illicit substances were found at the scene, and there is no suspicion of foul play surrounding this unfortunate incident.

A haunting image shared on his Instagram account just five days prior to his passing captures the actor in a moment of repose. In the photograph, Perry can be seen reclining in a jacuzzi, seemingly lost in the music playing in the background, as the moon casts its luminous glow over the Hollywood Hills surrounding his home. The image is accompanied by a poignant caption: "Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I'm Mattman."

Following his breakout role on "Friends," Matthew Perry continued to enjoy a stable career in the late 90s and early 00s, starring in a series of romantic comedies and comedies, including "The Whole Nine Yards" alongside Bruce Willis, "Fools Rush In," and "Three To Tango."
