COMEDIAN Peter Kay has announced a giant comeback tour, five years after he stepped out of the spotlight for 'family reasons'.
The TV funny man, 49, will embark on a UK-wide arena tour next month, with dates in Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and Glasgow.
It was announced all over his social media this evening, as well as during the ad break for the new series of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Reacting to the news, one fan Tweeted: "I can’t wait I really have to get tickets for this I love the man."
Another said: "Sod Glastonbury, I want Peter Kay tickets!" While a third said: "F**k me Peter Kay coming back has made my whole year! The GOAT."
Peter was due to take to the stage back in 2017 before cancelling due to unforeseen personal circumstances.
When cancelling the 100-date sell-out tour, he said: "Due to unforeseen family circumstances I deeply regret I am having to cancel all of my upcoming work projects.
"My sincerest apologies This decision has not been taken lightly and I’m sure you’ll understand my family must always come first."
