Local council bosses launched an investigation into the 'alleged running of a second hand car business' in December last year – but it was later closed March this year.

Now, according to The Sun, a second enforcement case has been opened and is 'pending consideration' with a decision due later this year on December 5.

As per planning laws, the storing and selling of cars from a private residential address could be deemed an "unauthorised change of use of the property".

The running of a second hand car business could also be deemed to have a "detrimental effect on neighbours' homes, the character of the area and environment, and highway safety".
