Chrissy Teigen shared a striking photo from a hospital bed on Thursday, showing her face heavily bandaged.
The Sports Illustrated model was wrapped in beige bandages around her cheeks and under her chin. On Instagram, Teigen explained the reason behind the hospital visit.

"Hi friends! A lot of you wondering about my hospital pic which is very understandable as I gave no explanation lol. I had a hairline lowering procedure.
"Lost a lot in the front from babies and it's just very thin up there. When you see it on a carpet it's ALWAYS extensions. Anyhow I'll share more later if you're interested in the journey because it really is a journey lol."
This isn't the first time Teigen has opened up about cosmetic procedures. Back in 2021, she revealed she had facial liposuction to slim her face.
In 2017, Teigen admitted to having liposuction under her arms. Responding to a fan question about the "craziest treatment" she'd ever done, she said, "I had my armpit sucked out."

She explained the procedure gave her "two inches of length" on her arms and boosted her confidence in sleeveless outfits. Speaking to Refinery29, Teigen described the armpit liposuction as "one of the best things" and said, "It's a big secret, but I don't care."
However, she also called the treatment "the dumbest thing I've ever done," noting the results weren't permanent. "And I had two inches to my armpit. Now it's back though, so now I've gotta pay for [liposuction] again. It was so easy," she added.
"It made me feel better in dresses; I felt more confident. It was the dumbest, stupidest thing I've ever done. The dumbest, but I like it, whatever. I have no regrets, honestly."
