PRESENTER AJ Odudu is in "final talks" to land the top job hosting the brand new series of Big Brother when it reboots on ITV.

She previously had a presenting role on the 2013 reality show spin-off Big Brother's Bit on the Side, alongside Emma Willis and Rylan Clark-Neal.

And now it seems she's landed the main hosting slot when the show, which has been off-air for six years, revives itself on ITV next year.

"AJ has been offered the Big Brother job and jumped at the opportunity. It's a huge boost to her career," claims a telly insider.

"AJ and ITV are still ironing out details in her contract but she has told a lot of people the job is hers," they told The Sun newspaper.

The 34-year-old telly star reportedly fought off tough competition; beating former Big Brother star Alison Hammond and actress Emily Atack.

An ITV spokesperson told OMG-News.com: "All suggestions surrounding the host are speculation at this stage."

The hit-social experiment TV show was originally hosted by Davina McCall who was the face of the programme from 2000 until 2010.

Ex-contestant Brian Dowling took the reins between 2011 and 2013 before Emma Willis covered the final years until it went off-air in 2018.

After starting on Channel 4, the show later switched to Channel 5 where it ended its run. The 2023 series will be its first on ITV and airs in Autumn.
